Ed Berry is a practice leader in the management and delivery of large scale higher education and institutional projects. Ed’s specialist expertise includes managing multi-level client and consultant groups to deliver excellent design outcomes for large complex projects. He is at the forefront of developing BIM technology, both in leading consultant design teams in a full 3D model environment, but also working with contractors to generate efficiencies through integrated 3D documentation.

 

 Nick Bourns

Nick Bourns is one of Lyons’ practice leaders and senior Design Architects with his primary experience in the design, briefing, co-ordination and delivery of large scale public, commercial, teaching and research facilities. Working closely with clients, Nick’s experience has enabled him to develop strong leadership and expertise in the design and implementation of all stages of building projects with complex programs and multi-stakeholder clients.

Nick has taught at both RMIT University for the Architecture faculty as well as the Melbourne University School of Design.

 Clare Connan

Clare Connan is a senior project architect with over 15 years experience who has worked on a wide variety of projects in the commercial, institutional and health sectors.  Clare’s expertise in leading management and coordination of large projects is highly valuable in ensuring outstanding design outcomes are delivered.  Clare has taught at RMIT University for the Architecture Faculty, and has been a member of the Melbourne University Faculty Board for Architecture, Building & Planning, as part of her role on the Committee of Convocation.

 

 Codey Lyon

Codey Lyon is one of Lyons’ lead health planners. She is a registered allied health professional which allows her to bring both a strong design and clinical perspective to her health planning work. Codey is an outstanding communicator and is able to quickly facilitate high value solutions at user group reviews and design sessions - solutions which are both capital and recurrently cost effective and which optimise service delivery outcomes for clients and staff.

 Hari Pliambas

Hari has had extensive experience in the management of large scale institutional, research, civic and health sector projects.   Hari provides leadership in  managing the client consultation on complex projects with multiple stakeholder engagement and managing and co-ordinating consultant groups to deliver outstanding results for our clients.  Hari’s specialist skills include the  interpretation of client requirements and aspirations into functional design briefs that are utilised to establish the framework for our design work,  planning of specialist research and education environments and the continued management of stakeholder technical inputs.  Hari has taught at the University of Melbourne.

 

Sannah McColl

Sannah is one of Lyons' most experienced Senior Architects, with extensive experience and expertise in major health projects. Sannah’s role includes the management of Lyons' projects through the design, documentation and delivery phases, working closely with each client to ensure that their project solution reflects their unique requirements.   

Adam Pustola

Adam is one of Lyons senior Design Architects, specialising in the design of higher education, research and justice projects. His design leadership and approach to a project’s opportunities at all scales has enabled him to deliver outstanding design outcomes across urban design, masterplanning, architecture and interiors. These public realm projects have been informed by clients who seek innovation based on new models of research, learning and public engagement.

Rob Tursi

Rob Tursi has over 25 years experience in the design and planning of major acute and extended care facilities. He is regarded as one of Australia's leading exponents of new directions in health care planning and design and brings highly specialised skills and expertise to Lyons major hospital and healthcare projects.
