In his role of Associate and Design Architect at Lyons, Grant explores emerging technologies and design methodologies to create engaging places that are people-focussed and imbued with cultural meaning. Grant’s ability to synthesise complex ideas into architectural form furthers the design discourse within the practice and in the public realm.
Grant’s experience at Lyons covers a range of project typologies, with a focus on the cultural, educational and institutional sectors. Some of Grant’s key projects include the STEMM Building (University of Newcastle), Andrew N. Liveris Building (University of Queensland) and the Wyndham Law Courts in Werribee.
Grant actively contributes to the Lyons’ studio culture by leading a number of social and cultural initiatives. Grant is a regular face on design critiques for the Lyons Design Studio at RMIT University and a technical tutor and design critic at the University of Melbourne.
