Tess O’Meara
Practice Executive, Principals
Tess is a Principal and Design Architect at Lyons who is passionate about design outcomes that are politically and culturally engaged.
Prior to completing her studies in architecture, Tess graduated from Monash University with a B.A in Politics, and is, as a result, inherently interested in contextually responsive design, driven equally by research, policy and narrative.
Her experience at Lyons is predominantly within the cultural and educational sectors, with key projects including The New Student Precinct (University of Melbourne), Bean Building Redevelopment (The Australian War Memorial), and most recently the ECU City Campus (Edith Cowan University) in Perth.
Outside the studio, Tess continues to explore design through a socio-political lens as a studio leader and sessional tutor at RMIT University and The University of Melbourne.
